The Crisis: Sadhus Going Hungry for Days
Lately, many sadhus in Vrindavan are facing extreme hardship, struggling to find even a single meal a day. Some go hungry for three days at a time, waiting in hope for someone to offer them food. The streets that once echoed with chants of devotion now witness the silent suffering of those who have surrendered their lives to spirituality.
Our Mission: Free Tiffin Seva
Rahul, the founder of Homeless Care Foundation, saw this crisis firsthand during his visits to Vrindavan. Determined to ensure that no sadhu goes to bed hungry, he started the Free Tiffin Seva, serving nutritious meals to sadhus so they can focus on their sadhna without worrying about their next meal. Today, these meals bring not just nourishment but also immense blessings from the sadhus, who offer their heartfelt prayers for everyone contributing to this noble cause.
The Urgent Need for Support
Currently, due to limited funds, we are able to serve food to only 100 sadhus, while more than 1,000 sadhus remain in desperate need, asking daily if they too can receive a meal. It is heartbreaking to turn them away due to lack of resources. To continue this seva and extend it to more sadhus, we need urgent financial support.
